Those Darn Tables
I have had soooo many visions for table numbers at our wedding reception.
The word love in a different language at each table. But, since we may have up to 25 tables, that gets to be a bit tricky. (finding languages that are distinct enough from one another)
Then, we thought about naming each table after a memory we had together and including a story and a photo. But, I feel like a lot of folks go that route. And, it’s hard for guests to find their tables without some sense of “order.”
My new obsession combines traditional table “numbers” with the second idea we had. What would brides do without TheKnot.com?
In both of these examples, the table numbers obviously don’t correspond to the number of tables in the room. However, there is some opportunity to still put them in order, if we feel that’s necessary.
I think it’s a great way to still share memories with our guests, while providing a little play on traditional “table numbers.”
Now the challenge is converting our memories into numbers. Phew.
What do you think? Will we confuse guests if their table assignment is 311? (my sorority house number)

So cute! I love this idea- I always think about my mom and table numbers, she gets confused when they’re names
